We have been learning about the sacrament of Baptism as part of our RE lessons. Today Father Philip joined us for a special assembly where he explained some of the things that he does during a baptism.  We learnt about some of the symbols that are used during Baptism and what they represent.  The children in year three commented that they found it really interesting, ” We found out about the Chrism oil, that there was more than one oil used in baptism.” commented Joseph. Adam from year 4 said, “It reminded me of what baptism was all about.”
