We celebrated the Jubilee with a special picnic on the field and enjoyed various craft activities in the morning.

We have been developing new skills playing golf in our Wednesday PE lessons this half term.

As part of our Science this week, we studied the human jaw and then carefully created models to represent our teeth.

We enjoyed participating in a workshop run by Ignite focused on reconciliation as part of our RE this week.

We enjoyed getting creative making pop up cards as part of our Easter preparations this week.

 21st March 2022

We loved making vegetable soup this week. Some of us made leek and potato and some made carrot and parsnip. Most of us thought that they were delicious!
18th March 2022 - Walk Against Hunger

w/c 14th March 2022 - Science Lesson

We enjoyed participating in our whole school investigation, Flappy Fish on Friday. We tried changing the size and material of the fish to see what effect it had on the how far and fast our fish could travel.

11th March 2022 - Drama lessons

Year  4 have been using drama to retell scenes from the book we have been reading, The Firework Maker's Daughter.

World Book Day - Thursday 3rd March 2022

Week commencing 28th February 2022

In Year 4 we enjoyed taste testing different vegetable soups and evaluating them as part of our DT topic. We look forward to designing our own recipes and cooking these next.

Week commencing 21st February 2022 

This week Year 4 have been investigating how circuits work in our Science lesson. We tested out using bulbs, motors, buzzers and switches.
