Our Y3 class have been learning about traditional tales this term. One tale in particular that they have been exploring, is that of Robin Hood. And to help them really bring this story alive, the class are involved in a project involving many Norfolk Primary Schools that has put the story of Robin Hood into an Opera!

‘A King’s Ransom’ – what is it all about?
The workshop was absolutely fantastic and the class truly thew themselves into exploring opera and story all at the same time. The class will be visiting The Open centre in February for the World Premiere performance of this new opera called ‘A King’s Ransom.’ It has been written by the internationally acclaimed composer, Patrick Hawes and the concert will be performed by an equally well known orchestra – Britten Sinfonia!
