The children have been enjoying a prayer trail in our Spiritual garden as part of our devotions to Mary this month. On the trail they have found out about different parts of Mary’s life and how they can relate this to their own lives.
On Wednesday 30th January the school gymnastic team attended a competition at Ormiston High School. They enjoyed performing and demonstrated the school’s values representing the school excellently. The team have really benefited from the after school club that gives them the chance to practice their skills and develop their routines.
Another great afternoon was hosted by Year 5 and 6, as they came together with their families to solve some mathematical problems. Here are some of the comments the families made.

We had a wonderful morning with students from NDHS sharing their faith with our KS1 this morning. First they lead us in a collective worship on the theme of Advent. Then they lead two workshop sessions, helping us to make a personal response to getting ready to receive Jesus into our hearts at Christmas.
On Friday 5th October we all dressed in our brightest clothes and had a joyful Harvest Mass, thanking God for all the gifts he gives us and thinking about how we can share our gifts with others. As a result of this event we raised £233.93 for CAFOD. On the 12th of October we were visited by Clare from CAFOD. Our Mini Vinnie team were able to present her with a cheque to support the work that CAFOD do. Clare shared with the whole school some of work that CAFOD do on our behalf and how our money would help people all over the world.
